94 eg bound up front hub
I pressed out the from drivers hub, removed the snap ring and pressed the bearing out of the spindle. Cleaned everything, pressed the bearing back into the spindle, re installed the snap ring and pressed the hub back in. Double checked to make sure it was all pressed back together right. It's pressed together add much as it will go. Re installed the spindle and when I tightened down the cv axle it touches the backside of the spindle and binds I so that you can't turn the hub. Checked the bearing prior to being installed, it all was the same size. Did I put it in backwards? Didn't look like it could possibly go in backwards besides the snap ring went right in, no problems. Any ideas?

sounds like the hub is not in the bearing far enough or the entire bearing is not in far enough. There should be a small gap between the axle and the hub/knuckle assembly.
Did you install the same axle or is it a replacement? I have had the wrong axle given to me by the parts counter guys and it hit the knuckle when bolted together.
Make sure the dust ring on the back of the knuckle isnt bent or contacting the axle

The axle is the original. There is no gap. It touches the back side of the spindle. I tried re pressing it but same problem. The hub is pressed in all the way I assume because the wheel studs have about 1/16" of clearance from the dust cover. I'm going to take it all back apart today and probably do a lot of cussing and probably replace the bearing again because the race always comes off with the hub.

The spindle is about 1/32 off. It's twisted a little bit. Just where the bearing presses in. I heated it slightly and re pressed the bearing in. Then heated it a little and straightened it out. Didn't make it glow at all. Everything went back together great and has already gone 1,500 Mike's no problem
