Default 94 Civic DX coupe with D15B7 engine - Crankshaft pulley tool

I have a 1994 Civic DX coupe with a D15B7 engine in it. The car has 203178 miles on it. I bought the car back in 2002 for my oldest daughter. The car was wrecked in 2006. The car sat in my yard until this summer. I have done body work and paint. doing mechanical work on it now. Started doing the timing belt today. I rented the crankshaft pulley holder. It has 6pt shape on the tool. I noticed that my crankpulley does not have the 6pt to interface with the tool. My pulley is shaped like a bowl. It has holes around the circumference for the pulley. Any ideas on how to remove the bolt from the pulley bolt from the crankshaft would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully

I used an 8mm Allen key on mine. Craftsman the cheap ones bend.

This method will dent the edge of the oil pan where it bolts up Better off with the right tool but this method will work

You can also try with someone sitting in the car pressing the brake pedal while in park or in gear.

Without the aid of the brake booster you really have to have hulk legs to get any real grip on the rotors. Even then it tends to slip or so I found when popping my axle nuts.

For a crank pulley you can't run the car to make use of the brake booster so most likely even with someone mashing the brakes with all their might, it's probably going to not be very effective.

To give an update, I ordered the crank pulley holder tool from Amazon, and used it last night. it worked like a champ. No issues. Thanks RonJ@HT and all who responded!

i just insert a big screwdriver into the brake rotor slot next to the caliper,
pressing on the brake pedal is for the birds (or hulks).
