When was the last time you did a complete tune up (plugs, plug gap, cap, rotor, wires, ignition timing)?

Have you ever run fuel injection cleaner?

When is the last time you changed your fuel filter?

my bad, misread the order....

New plugs yesterday after seafoam was done.

So what you are saying is you have compression, fuel and spark...

Can the car breath (clogged air filter)?

Also what voltage do you have on closed throttle position from your TPS? And then what is the voltage on Wide Open Throttle from the TPS?

When you said complete Dizzy, I'm assuming you swapped out the dizzy in it's entirety. Is it a brand new OEM dizzy or a used dizzy?

You just used seafoam in the gas tank or did you follow the idiotic directions on the bottle and put that **** everywhere?

The other thing you may look into is checking all your grounds, an intermittent ground problem can cause havoc on the whole system.

Really though, it sounds to me like you are going to be spending a lot of time with a digital multimeter and going over everything with a fine tooth comb one step at a time until you find the culprit.

Intermittent problems are the worst in my opinion. FSM manual always says, oh, not a problem at the moment, well wait until it's fully broken, currently system is okay.

Just bought a 95 civic dx not to long ago and it was bogging while accelerating. Solve the problem when I change the radiator fluid, spark plugs + wires and ajusting ignition timing. Found out one of the spark plug wasn't firing. For your car not reving past 5k maybe you could try another ecu. Good luck.

Maybe you should go to the EF section where you belong. Different motors, different EMS's, different problems.

Yes, where you belong. The OP's car and your car are completely different, and whatever resolution he has most likely will have absolutely nothing to do with your car. Here ya go, I'll even hold your hand and walk you over there.

Click here, read whatever rules and FAQ stickies they may have, and if you still need to ask, create a new thread there.

It's called using search but alright. Everybody says use search but then I have to check what sections my results show up in to look at? Wow. Either way I still was checking if the op ever fixed it for my own knowledge my KIND of car or not. So really no need to be a dick.

Yes, you are supposed to search. You're also supposed to apply some common sense and make sure the results you find apply to you. This is basic forum etiquette that applies literally everywhere on the internet.

In datwagon's defense, although engine code is different, the problem "could" still be related. And the only problem I see that datwagon did was apparently just said what year his car was. This retarded argument apparently would've been avoided if he just said "my car is doing the same thing".

Anyways, my car was doing the same thing. I checked the dizzy, coil, plugs, wires, etc. Well last night, I threw on another ecu and it drove perfect. So maybe a resistor or something went bad in my current ecu.
