Default Picking up a D17A2 for my LX

My friend's shop replaced a customers d17a2 that had a "cracked block" but it ended up only being a blown head gasket lol. his boss is going to let me pick up the engine minus the throttle body for $150, cant pass it up.

got a few questions about putting it in my 97 lx to clear up any future headaches.

- will my d16 transmission bolt up?
- will I need to modify any motor mounts?

heres some pics my buddy sent me

Pick it up. Replace a few parts. Resell.

IIRC the bell housing bolt pattern is the same. You need to fab up mounts though, and figure out something for an ignition system since those engines used individual coil packs. (I'm not sure if they have provisions for mounting a distributor or not)

They're an absolute turd of an engine though.
