93 Si rear hatch lift support?
So, the left hatch lift support broke today on my civic.
It's the part that connects to the glass, I think it's the piece inside the glass itself where the threading is just completley stripped.
Anyone ever have this problem???

Right here.
Looks like parts #21-23. I ordered these through my local Honda dealer to replace mine that looked like they'd been through the ringer. Didn't cost much.

If you're only looking for the part that goes into the glass, you'll probably have to get it through a Honda dealer. I think Auto Zone only has the full strut kit.
And yes, it's easy...I did it w/o instructions. I like having a hatch that doesn't bang my head every time I get my stuff out of the back.

HaHa seriously. My right side is perfect but the strut on the left is just dangling. I'm surprised how the threading was just stripped away.

And on a side note..............................................
I'm having another problem. My passenger side Integra seat is broken. Looks like there are two sets of teeth that lock the seat in it's set position, and mine happen to be stripped. What's up with stripping?
Anyway... The seat reclines with very little force put against it. Can I replace those metal teeth?
Anyone?
