$500 Dollars Starts a dream Del sol
Well I ran into this car just looking for a new thing to get into. It is a 93 Delsol S. It is like my other SOL. But it is going to need alot of work lol. The quarters are rusting the rear bumper is real loose, the seals leak bad, an the idiot that had it before me tried to paint it with spray paint an i guess he ran out cause half the car is green an the other is red lol. An to top it off he put some nasty Aftermarket fenders, Kaminari hood and an ugly front an rear AM Bumper as well. So i intend on getting this car back to the way she should be. Thus the beginning of my project any advise or just comments will be appreciated an if you want to critisize go ahead dont care not an angry person lol. Photos will be up tomorro

welp i couldnt wait to get started so I went an got a front bumper from a local junk yard an it is in ok condition considering i only paid $20 for it lol it has one split in it at the bottom drivers corner but ill just bondo it an try to make as best as i can.

those fenders an hood an bumpers are gone as soon as i can get stock replacements then ill prolly just burn the AM ones lol. I didnt think about it till after i had bought the del sol front bumper but i am thinking of doing an EG front end swap.

Don't bondo the bumper if you stick with the sol front, it wont stick well. Use a 2 part bumper repair kit. Its meant for fixing those types of bumpers. Gl with the project sounds like you have a good plan so far.

Lol that is actually what i was thinking to is Xmas when i seen this car lol. Im actually going to be starting the sanding process here soon when i can get the time an do some retro body work an also thank you for idea about the bumper fix ill do that instead lol.

The only thing that is bad about this car mechenically is because it isnt getting any spark an the fuel pump isnt kicking on he said that is why he was getting rid of it lol otherwise it should run perfect he said. Lol I wish but that isnt my luck lol.

ha ha lol this will never happen again in my life i got to looking at the fuse box under the hood to check an see if everything was hooked up right an seen a ground wire was hanging down an i realized it was the ground wire that goes behind the thermostat houseing so i did that an she turned right over lol. Sorry bout that guys luck lol.

indeed. here is my idea as to what im going to do first off im going to see if i can get an EG front end donor if so im going to do a eg front end swap, then im going to cut an weld my stock fenders an my eg fenders then install them then ill sand till i cant sand no more lol. Thats all the info for now dont want to get to far ahead of myself but i can tell you the color it will be as sson as i find out how much it is lol. It is either going to Fiji Blue Pearl clearcoat or it will be Royal Blue clearcoat. So there is the idea for you lol.

welp i got bored cause i ordered the paint an all my supplies an they wont be here for 4 days so i decided to do a litle cosmetic work lol so i got a set of stock tail lights today for $20 for both an i used vht an tinted them.trying to load pics now lol.

I also got to drive it last an the head lights were crap lol so i bought a set of xtravision bulbs i was happy cause i bought them for $15 so didnt want to pass that up lol.

I am so bored so tomorro im going to go pay some bills then ill c if i can get some sand paper so i can get this this thing bare an the body done before the paint gets here lol.
