92 Vx sputters while driving

Default 92 Vx sputters while driving

I have a 92 Civic Vx, that had a swapped d16y7, withe z6 manifold. It still has the vx harness and is running a p28 and z6 dizzy. Car ran good this way when i bought it, but i was tracking down cel's and came across the 02 sensor so since its a non vtec motor i put in the dx one, and a p06 ecu. since i did both of those thing it runs horribly under a load. Any advice? New harness or new dizzy, or possibly just buy the si 02 sensor?

that would probably be the issue, the Z6 dizzy is for the z6 which is a Vtec, P28 is for the Vtec engine, your computer is telling your dizzy where to put ****. and your p06 is giving it the wrong information sounds like to me....I would put on the p28 again and replace the 02 sensor.

I just unplugged the o2 and put the p28 back in and it sputters at 1500rpm, sounds like a 2 step then once ur past there it pulls straight through. So ur saying im better off running the z6 dizzy, o2, and ecu? Even though the d16y7 is a non vtec?

but the dizzy is d6. and that puts the power where its supposed to is my thoughts. but leave the 02 in.
the only thing the 28 would do about the vtec is turn it on at 5500 rpm. since its not on the car shouldnt bother it, but, let the car warm for about 5-10 and see if that does the same thing, because its possible the car thinks its cold is why...( sensor again, 02)

Ill try that. I might try the o2 with the p28. Since i only had problems with the p06
