how to wire back up lights in 93 civic that has been changed from auto to manual?

you remember that hot dog shaped white box that was on the a/t shifter? remember the plug that went to it?

i wanna say its two greeen wires on that big grey plug. jump the right one and your reverse lights will come on. run wires from that plug up to the engine bay to the reverse light switch on the trans.

i'd use a multi-meter to check for continuity between the reverse light bulb's socket and the wires in the plug to find which it is. and this way you won't fry anything at all.

the yellow and green wires in the grey plug there right under the center console... run them to the trans reverse switch. just like i thought!

BYAH! now you can back up in the dark

I'm still sliding my A/T gear selection indicator around when reversing in the dark. I need to fix that to go pass safety/emissions.
