Ummm WRONG I don't know of one WHITE Si Hatch that came with Blue interior. So no not ALL white hatches had blue interior.

Okay, thanks to another member here I have an original 1992 sales brochure for the 1992 Civic hatch and sedan.

Interior colors are as follows:

Civic CX hatchback:

Frost White/BLUE
Milano Red/Black
Phantom Grey Pearl/Grey

Civic DX hatchback:

Frost white/BLUE
Milano Red/Black
Tahitian Green Pearl/Black
Phantom Grey Pearl/Grey
Harvard Blue Pearl/Grey (kick-*** dark-*** blue -awesome color!)

Civic VX hatchback:

Frost White/BLUE
Milano Red/Black
Tahitian Green Pearl/Black

Civic Si hatchback:

Milano Red/Black
Granada Black Pearl/Black (Brochure says Flint Black, but they must have changed it before production)
Captiva Blue Pearl/Black

So there you have it. I highly doubt Honda would change the interior color combos after 1992 to 1993. From 1994-1995 they added dual airbags, and the colors were switched up a bit. They added some colors like the Darker teal and also made the Si available in white, and other trims in other previoualy unavaliable colors too.

(crying like a baby) nooooo, nooooo!!! well, thanks for the nail in my coffin tom...i will now decide on another color than blue...id like to get the darker version of the tahitian green pearl...i dont see it around much...but, the dark blue color would be my ultimate choice...again, thanks for your help!

The darker teal you're referring to would be:

Paradise Blue/Green Pearl, and I'll have to double check, but I *think* it was a 1994-1995 color. That means 2 airbags

My 93 VX hatch came in a light blue that somewhat resembles EBP. I forgot what it was called. It came with a Black interior and gray seats.

well...im trying to stay away from 94-95 hatchbacks as well...i guess this narrows my search down even more...im assuming i have the choice between only a few colors then. which is fine...ill be okay once i actually get the car, and just stop thinking about it. id rather stay away from the dual airbag business as well.

trying to find out what the correct color on my harvard blue 93 dx hatch is supposed to be??

the entire interior up to the pillars is black and then it's light grey from there up with a grey vinyl roof liner.

but according to the listings a few posts above:

it's supposed to be grey only??

I dont think the interior was changed out though since I dont see screwdriver marks on any of the interior screws anywhere and well...its bone stock so I dont think it's been modified by the previous owner.

Is there any way to tell from the data plate or the door plate what color the interior is??

I searched specifically for a white SI hatch cause I hate the blue interior and didnt want to hassle with swapping interiors. Actually flew to Las Vegs from Cincinnati and bought the car, then drove all the way back home 1900 miles. But I got a clean car, no rust, black interior!

. I have a white VX, swapped that **** for black interior. I love it. PLUS, there's more interior options with black interior (ie optional audio console and armrest). But I think they made blue armrests.

For some reason Honda calls it "Charcoal gray" for the interior but it's just another name for black.

As for the blue interior, wouldn't the console/dash surround be gray just like every other Civic regardless of the interior color?

i have a 92 white dx, blue interior of course... i dont mind it. i bought the car with no interior carpet, got some grey carpet and some grey/blue gsr cloth seats and its lookin good to me. nice contrast.

A bit off topic, but this is not the first time that I've heard that Granada Black Pearl came on the 1992 Si's. I've got the 1992 Factory service manual, first edition, that lists the color as Flint Black Metallic. Yes, I will agree, that paper may not be correct, but I also have a 1992 Si, and per the paint code sticker, it has Flint Black Metallic. Plus, when the paint was still good on it, I parked it beside a 1994 Si with the Granada Black Pearl paint, and it was different. (my car is bone stock)

AFAIK, Flint Black Metallic was only available for 1992 Civic Si's.

I recently bought a frost white 95 cx hatch, and I hate the blue interior. Can anyone tell me what they paid to switch it all over to black? Also did you have any luck selling your old blue interior?

I had a white 93 vx hatch with blue interior. I also had a 92 cx hatch with black interior that I was stripping because it had a bent frame. When I went to go sell the blue interior I didn't get anybody asking about any piece I had. That was in san diego. I ended up throwing it all into my 92 hatch and donated my car so I could put it on my taxes as a write off. So I highly doubt your blue interior will sell, unless you find someone who has a blue interior civic all stock who needs som pieces cuz their's are messed up. But good luck finding that on this site.

My 92CX phantom gray came with light gray plastics,carpet, pleather seats and door inserts. I have another hatch that is a 94DX that is Aztec Green with black plastics and carpet. The seats are a charcoal cloth and plain charcoal door inserts.

I bought my 94 vx for a grand two years ago. It is frost white with a blue interior. I have managed to piece together a blk interior for less than 250 and it is in mint condition. Don't get discouraged with the blue. It just takes a little time to find all the black panels. You can always paint the back panels with plasti-dip for a temporary solution. It worked great for me.
