91 civic hatch, B16 XSi swap wont stay running input
Car would not start. Replaced the IAC. Car would then attempt to run.
Made strange noise I could not nail down. Determined it was the starter bad. Appears to be original and my car did die on me about a year or so ago and I remember cranking and cranking.. There was also some metal shavings on the end. Finally got a new starter and car would start but not run long.
I would get going and run out under hood feather gas and observe fuel gauge and listen to noises.
After checking all that I noticed my battery light is coming on now that I was able to sit down in car and watch what happens inside..
Is my alternator now also no good?
I have a small odyessey PC battery installed. I had issues before where the battery would just drain down.. Even being brand new
I wanted to do the test to see if the alternator is bad... Which is when running pull cables... And it won't run long enough for me to do this. Plus the power terminals are all bolted down
Any input?

Use a DMM to test if your battery is getting charged...not pull cables to see if the car would run on its own without a battery...

After all this, it was the distributor. Car runs now. Tossed a **** load of parts @ it in effort to get it running.
Starter, alternator, sensors so on

Well....this is the reason why I will say I never just keep swapping parts. Some say its the fastest way to fix an issue but ....no.
