Im getting DC Sports stainless for my coupe.. its bone stock but i will have Intake, HKS exhaust and the header... my question is what is a better design for my 1.6L EX? 4-2-1 or 4-1 designed header?

4-2-1 would give you a more even powerband and maybe 2-3whp ....

yay for N/A SOHCs

I have 4-2-1 and when I got it my head work and a tune they told me I could get an additional 5 hp at the topend if I got 4-1 with a 2.5 collector. so I suggest the 4-1

4-2-1 for low end and 4-1 for more top end..it reallie depends on how u want it..i'll go with the 4-2-1 though for better 1/4 mile time.

Pretty much. A 4-2-1 will be more enjoyable on the street with stop and go traffic.

Exactly. I/H/E is a WASTE!
That money can be put together to atleast piece together most of a turbo set up.

in that case, save your money and spend it on your swap.

that's too bad, you'll be missing out on a lot of fun and when you say you're going to swap a motor I'm assuming you'll probably go b16a and a boosted d16 will raped a b16a..sooooooooooooooo expletive you

hahahaha no. boost is over rated. i had a 99 gsx and AWD + boost is nice. FWD + boost is retarded.

and its not going to be a B16.

I think you + life = retarded.

I'd suggest a 4-2-1. They offer the most ground clearance, are easiest to put on, and give a SOHC the same noticable amount of power (as in 0whp).

GT28RS'd SOHC FTW

Ha let the disappointment arrive..
A swapped b series is NOT fast.
A boosted d would make you much happier.

oh well he will be pissed off when he doesnt take our advice and pays more for a swap and some turbo D comes along, paid less for his whole kit, and hands his *** to him.
