Default 2nd generation JDM B18C5 ?

I was told there are two generations of JDM B18C5 motors. Can anyone tell me the difference visually and by both specs.

Call me crazy, but aren't C5's USDM. A JDM block will only say B18C. Correct me if I'm wrong.

A GSR will say P72 and a Type R should say P73 on the head. But the block stamp is the same

I know the 98 JDM ITR tranny had the shortest gears of any Honda B-series tranny.

I was wrong, wasn't thinking. A GSR block whether it is JDM or USDM will say P72 on the head. Type R heads(ctr, jdm and usdm) and B16's(jdm and usdm) will say PR3 on the head. I believe it is the number that follows the 3 that signifies what head it is. It was bothering me all day being wrong like that. Correct me if I'm still wrong.

PR3-X

The X can be any number and means nothing when considering if the head is a b16 or itr head.
