Default 2003 civic 5 speed

I am about to do the tranny fluid change. should i go with GM synchromesh or go with Honda MTF. please advise. has only 30k miles.

Go with MTF, unless your tranny is grinding, then go with GM syncromesh.

will it make it worse if i use GM synchromesh, because i m reading lots of thread about it but dont know if this applies to newer model orn ot.

Then use Honda MTF, no need for you to use GM syncromesh.

k thanks a lot for your advise. now one more thing i m going to throw in. dealer is asking for $295.00 for 30k mile service and it doenst nothing but check and adjusting things. if i go to other place they wiill charge me $50.00 for everything except tranny fluid change. what do they do in lubricating chassis ? is it necessory, can i do this by myself and how ?
