1998 honda civic hatch. auto trans issue (solved)
I have a 1998 Honda civic dx hath back. oem auto trans and d16y7. has the b4ra transmission. has 123k miles. trans has worked fine since I had the car. just today it was shifting fine then stopped for a redlight then all of a sudden it wouldn't engage any gear at all. if I shut it down for longer than 10 minutes and start it. it works fine for a minute then starts to slip. only codes are p0700-p0730. I have checked and cleaned all the solenoids even though they didn't have any blockage at all. fluid was changed when I got it around 30k miles ago. checked the fluid and still clean with no metallic at all. out of idea. and now on foot. any ideas of anything to check or try? yes I have searched but no solid answers

Have you ever replaced the ATF? Since the problem arose, did you try 3 drain-refill cycles with the proper ATF?
If you reset the ECU, does the same code return?

yes I have and still shows p0700 and p0730 codes. and I don't have the money to replace the transmission. I was fixing to trade it for a 99 prelude before this happened. only thing I can afford to do maybe is sell something then get a used one from the local pull a part and take a 50/50 chance.
