1997 civic swap vss not working?

just swapped my 97 civic w/97 itr and i dont know why my speed meter isnt working but the temperture is and also the gas meter...(have no rpm meter yet)..what could it be since i think the vss is still good cause i got the motor from hmotors online?

Any CEL codes?

Does the VSS plug have power and ground?
