1997 civic hx short ram intake help
ok so i have a short ram intake sitting in my closet up top, and i want to no if it is bad if i put it in compared to my stock intake
or should i just leave it out?
the main question is, If i put this intake in, will it increase or decrease my MPG?

no ones saying anyones going to step on a gas pedal more just because the intake is in there...
its a simple question.. i dont see why i cant just get a answer instead of people saying stupid **** all the ****ing time..
its so upsetting

The HX is a cool trim man.
Your car came tuned for efficiency from the factory (it even has a wideband O2 sensor if IIRC).
If I were you I would leave it alone.
If you want to make it faster you're probably better off doing a swap or Turboing/Tuning her.
Small things like intake/header/exhaust are not going to give you tangible performance improvements and will only alter the precise and efficient tuning your car was engineered with from factory.
