done some research and come to the conclusion that the speedo in my Del Sol is not working. I replaced the VSS and that didn't work.

No check engine light (don't have cruise control so can't do that test), the odometer doesn't work, the transmission shifts fine.

either the PCB board is bad or the speedo is bad.

The question is from what years and what cars can I scavage the speedo ? Civics? Accord? (I assume civics, and I assume 92 - 9? )

replaced VSS with a known working one?
93-96 del sol is a propriatary cluster. try another.
most likely cluster. but cluster shouldnt stop cruise control.
you could use civic accord etc. but you would have rewire cluster wires to work..

Doing my research on here found that I don't need to replace the whole cluster (which I have done once already several years ago), rather I can either replace the speedometer or the printed circuit board on the back of the speedometer. And I don't have cruise control.

looking to see if it has to be a Del Sol speedometer, or can it be salvaged from a civic of the same gen or similar years.
