1992 honda civic
I have a 1992 honda civic sedan. I currently just got my A/C working. It was working really good. One day i was driving down the freeway and it just turned off for a few seconds, turned back on for a few more minutes then turned off and never turned back on. It seems like I lost power to the entire system. The blower, heater, a/c nothing is working. I have checked the fuses under the dash and the a/c relay under the hood but they are good. I even replaced the relay and still nothing. I dont even get the a/c light on. I dont know what else to check, so anyone that has any advice that i can try just let me know. Thank You

Re: 1992 honda civic
Thanks for the replies. My computer has been down so i was not able to get to the replies till just recently. I will look into the heater panel board, but wanted to know if there was any way to check to know its bad, or do i just go and get one and replace it. Just want to make sure before i toss this one. Other than the heater panel is there anything else that i should take a look at that would kill the power to both heater, a/c, and blower. Agian thanks for all the help.

hey RonJ@HT, thanx for that last reply with the diagrams that really does help out alot when trouble shooting. I wanted to know where i would find a book like that or where i could go on the internet that would give that information for troubleshooting differant things. Seems like that kind of book would come in handy to help trouble shoot and find the main problem. Again thanx for all the replies. I am still working on getting this problem solved just could not get to it till now, starting at the begining of that troubleshooting guide. I will post if i have any success. Thank U

Re: 1992 honda civic
Just wanted to say thanx for all the help. I went out today and bought a multimeter, and started troubleshooting based on the diagrams. Could not believe it turned out to be a bad ground wire under the dash. The multimeter cost me a little over $4, and I almost went and bought a new switch and relay that would of cost well over a $100 for nothing. Well fixed the ground wire put everything together and all works great. Again thanx for the help.
