If we get another one (even if I'm not the tech) I'll grab these for you.

For that "upgrade"

A) You won't be able to get just one, you'll need a core sent it for these for the Honda. Upgrades will be about $1500 each. (I know 2 companies now going through prototype tests as we speak, and although happy with peak results, know that the turbine wheel can't take much more that what stock can give)
B) the wastegate is in a different location than the 335i twins.
C) The turbine wheels for the upgrade will be overpowered by the compressor wheel change up. Clipping the turbine wheel helps, but not by much at that turbine gas flow rate capability.
Meant no disrespect, only pointing out that the BMW boys have no issue with throwing money down for improvements, no matter how small. I am curious what Turbo Labs comes up with though.

Yes, but one thing they didn't do was invest in the stock turbo. It just wasn't worth the value of the cost of the upgrade.

Yes, let Turbo Labs of 'Murica be the test bed for the TD03, like last time.

This is a pretty informative post. Nice work and I look forward to seeing what these 1.5t motors can do.

WOW!!! you folks rock!!! I was just with my honda tech today and he recomended the hondata flash and an intake as well.

really this thread has been super helpful!

So if i do my intake and somethig goes awry is my warranty defunct?

I know i can reflash anytime but the intake would be a little hard to hide lol

I want the car to last me at least the 5 years, not trying to blow it up just coax a little more fun out of it...

An intake is nothing. Moss-Magnusson may protect you, but since you haven't put a location / region of origin in your screename, we can't tell if area dealerships would be "mod friendly, or not

If you have the 1.5t, locate a local tuner who is a certified reflasher.
