Went to a local dealer here, they are waiting for the next shipment..
If i want to get it, it would be 24k for the navi + other options that I must get..

Hello BoostinED9: On the ACCESSORIES part of the yellow sheet it shows a $1,066 charge for "17" RIMS". Why is this? The 2006 Civic Si comes standard with 17" wheels, so I don't understand this charge. There is an 18" wheel option for the Si, but I don't think that's the case here. Can you please verify?

Just got this quote via email:

"Gary,

I can take a deposit to order your SI with a delivery of March or April. I can take this deposit over the phone. The price for the Si navi with the Day night Mirror is $22,648.00 plus tax and tags. We are building a waiting list so time is very important to get your order in. I am here until 6pm tonight."

That just sounds like B.S. to me. It was mentioned before that the Si's will be mass produced. Its just hype now, like the xbox 360.

I just got back from my honda dealership in L.I. , New York. The dealer told me that each dealership is only getting 15 si for the year.

I scoffed in his face and told him i wasnt born yesterday and said that they were being mass produced. He just looked at me then had the gall to ask for my number and told me that the msrp was 25k.

Then i laughed again, took a brocuher and left.

This is a quote from the Internet Sales department from a dealer in central NJ: "the quote is 21,740 for the Si with NAVI." The problem is none of the dealers have any Si yet. Honda needs to start making these cars available.

These 17" you see the charge for are actually HFP rims identical to the 18"s and that price is without tires. I saved over $700.00 just by going with the 17"s. I had them switch the tires from the stocks to the upgrades so i can put some serious winter tires on the stocks.

My story on getting my Si is kind of an odd one considering the supply/demand issues that is the norm right now...

My fiancee went into a Honda dealer w/ her sister to look at a regular coupe and she mentioned to the salesperson that we were looking for an Si. The guy said that for some reason Honda was sending them an extra one above their normal allocation and it hadn't been sold to anyone yet. We went in on Saturday to work out a deal for it...

We got the car at MSRP, and we got a great deal on our trade in, so it worked out pretty well. I think it was 22,469 or something close to that. He also threw in the fog lights for free. Pretty sweet deal considering how hard these are to get, and the ridiculous prices that some dealers are trying to get for them.

I had one dealer laugh at me on the phone last week when I told him I wanted to get one before the new year... I kind of want to drive my Si over there sometime this week... haha.

I just purchased mine for $19740 I am located in North Dakota, so the dealership obviously didn't know what the national going price was I am new to the forum, however far from new to the knowledge on the forum. I manage a import shop here in Fargo, and haven't signed up to HT because I have been a Nissan guy in the past. Saw the SI at SEMA and that was all it took to get me hooked. Love the car and have 114 miles on it already..... LOVIN IT

Albaster Silver, No Nav, all season tires with 17's..... HAPPY

I just ordered mine Wednesday. Put the $1000 down payment on it. I ordered Navigation w/ summer tires, and fog lights. In Tafetta White. I got it out the door for $23,500.

It will not be here until late February however. They said they could get me it in 10 days originally, but when I told them I wanted Navigation they said there is about a 6-8 week delay. Exact shipping date will be known next week.

People in SoCal, Sierra Honda in Monrovia off the 210 and Mountain are selling theirs at MSRP, no mark up, that's what they are known for around the area, no mark up!!!, just to let you all know. There's a small waiting list, but it looks like the best deal in town so far.

My father just ordered his Fiji Blue Pearl Si.

Paying exactly MSRP, but then again, he didn't get the optional lips, wheels, nav, etc...
