Re: Official 06+ Civic Picture Thread FG/FA/FD
Finally got pics of both Winter Wheels and Summer XD9's.
This is my 2007 Civic Si Fiji Blue Pearl. Even with over 350,000 Kilometers, she puts down 203 WHP and 148 ft-lbs of torque after being tuned last fall on 91 pump gas.
Hope you enjoy her as much as I do.

Re: Official 06+ Civic Picture Thread FG/FA/FD
Recently purchased a 2015 Civic SE off a single owner lease return. Got a great deal and 100% of its service record is with my local dealership.
Back in the day I had a 95 Accord with light bodywork & bolt on's followed by a 96 Civic hatch that went through several motors (LS swap, CTR swap, built NA motor). After moving to California I went over to the dark side with a '99 VW GTI VR6 hatch, and then a sweet *** bicycle for several years after returning to university.
One of the coolest things about getting a Civic after years away from the brand is all the new tech. The touchscreen is fun and I was pleasantly surprised with a massive discount on my insurance for having backup/lane cameras. I was unsure about the CVT due to the ol' rumor mill, but one test drive sold me on it (Sacramento area traffic). Compared to the old D series, the R motors are out of this world. It obviously doesn't have the sound and kick of VTEC engagement in a dual cam motor, but dropped into sport with eco/traction control off the car feels significantly better than an old school LS swap. Sure, it wallows like a pig in the mud when you go into a corner...but thats nothing some suspension work & strut/sway bars can't fix. Great little daily driver thats got another 2 years left on warranty, so I'll be saving any money I might be tempted to spend on engine/computer stuff for the time being. I got some dark *** tint from the dealer & had a Kicker sub/amp installed cause why not. Going to get the steering wheel swapped out for a leather wrapped EX-L one in the next week or two.
The factory wheels are awful, but they'll make great spare's in the future.
