Mugen door visors (FA5)
I recently purchased a set of mugen door visors from jhpusa.com and I installed them this past Friday.
The instructions were in Japanese, so I searched online to find english instructions. When I did find english ones, they did not really go into detail about how to install the brackets and pins onto the weather stripping of the door. It basically became a trial and error job.
First, I strongly recommend installing the visors with the brackets instead of just with the double-sided tape, for security purposes! (Theft) With the brackets installed, someone would have to basically brake the visor to get it off, which would defeat the purpose.
Ok, the installation...
Simply pull the weather stripping out from the door frame. It is not glued or anything so you won't damage it. Take the brackets and align the shape of the brackets onto the inside of the weather stripping. You will definitely know if it lines up. Then just push the weather stripping with the bracket resting on top of it back into its place in the door frame.
Next, hold up the visor to the outside of the door frame and see where you want it to be. You can then align the holes in the visor with the holes in the brackets, by simply sliding the bracket side to side until it lines up.
Finally, you will now stick the visor onto the door frame/sill using the double-sided tape. Don't worry if the bracket holes and visor holes don't align, because you still have room to slide the bracket side to side from behind the now afixed visor.
Take the pins and insert them from the inside of the visor, since the holes of the visor are counter sunk. This will also be a deterant since someone will not be able to pop the pin out of its place.
One last comment....Don't worry if the visors are not in a perfect position on the door frame/sill, because you are aligning the bulge area of the visors up and not the top and bottom edges. If you do line up the top and bottom edges, because of the visors roundness shape, the bulge areas will not line up and the visors will look ridiculous.
Ok, I don't have pictures yet of my car with the visors on yet, but if you want a good idea of how they look on a taffeta white Civic Si sedan, then go to Honda-tech (vehicles for sale) and search for civic si sedan. Then click on the link for the 2007 TW civic si sedan for sale for $18,000. This isn't my car, its someone else for sale, but mine look like it!
Well, hopefully this makes the next installation someone does for the mugen door visors a little easier and quicker.

Where do the 2 clips go that are different than the other 6? The third picture in DiMpL3s' post shows the 2 different clips I am talking about.
