Default Injen CAI Question.

I have an 08 Si Sedan and A few months ago I had a Injen CAI installed and the plastic wheel well was cut to accommodate the pipping. My question is, could` having this hole increase my likelihood of getting water and other debre in my Intake? Is there anyone running this setup who did not have to cut to fit it? If so I am replacing the plastic they cut!

i didnt have to cut my wheel well plastic. 07 si sedan. i have taken it in/out a few times as well.

as far as debris/water, it has a better chance of getting in there than without a hole but I personally wouldnt worry about it. Ive heard alot of people have had to cut.

I wonder why Some have to cut and others dont? I am pondering replacing the plastic, but i dont want to buy it and then not being able fit it.... Also, how often do you clean your filter?

you didnt have to make the cut. and you can just cover the whole back up with whatever you'd like.
