Gf's car is poo
So my girlfriend lets me talk her into a civic after months of talking her outta a Hyundai elantra. Good. The bad thing is she picked a *** blue 4 door dx automatic. So for her birthday I'm gonna hook her up with some wheels and maybe something else to make it look better. Keep in mind she could never drive anything lowered cause she doesn't pay attention enough. She'd kill the car trying to straddle a dead raccoon or something.
I wish I could find wheels that would look decent at stock height and in orange. Any ideas?

Rhymes with rag, bag, nag, gag etc but HT blocked it. The fairy looking girl blue color that's a lot lighter than 4 door si blue. Aka "pretty" to my gf haha

What year Civic? If it's a new Civic vs a new Elantra then I would go with the Elantra without thinking twice. The new Hyundai's are much nicer than the old ones and much nicer than the newer Civic's IMO.

2009. We test drove an elantra and it felt cheap inside. Plus the Honda civic has been one of the most reliable compact cars for 20+ years and Hyundai still has a way to go In my eyes. I've seen a lot of warranty work on them for things like rotten subframes. If they can't figure out how to make drain holes that doesn't say much.

Don't get me wrong I like the Civic and I find it hard to go wrong with just about any model of them especially when it comes to reliability and solid fuel economy.

I agree that they're getting better than they used to be. The looks don't do anything for me on the elantra. I would possibly drive a genesis turbo but I'm never test diven one. They arent bad looking and its a hybrid Hyundai/Mitsu motor which is a plus.
