Default Can't pass smog. Catalyst not ready

I drive a 2007 Honda Civic. The only thing different is the stereo system and muffler.
For Stereo it's a sub & amp & 2 new speakers
Then there's a new muffler.

I didn't pass because both times I tried the computer came up saying the catalyst isn't ready. They said it's cause I have a new batter which was installed months ago with over 5000 miles on it.
They said drive more so I drove 150 miles came back and computer failed again. I'm honestly really frustrated and need help w/ this. Thanks guys

I have absolutely no idea what a batter is. You may have an oxygen leak. I couldn't get my emissions to set until I looked over my intake and seen a breather hose was unclamped down. As soon as I clamped it down it set after about 50 miles. So try gently using some seafoam on a cold start and look for white smoke leaking out at the exhaust gaskets.

Whenever doing exhaust gaskets and pipes, you absolutely have to go in stages a little at a time so they seal properly. A lot of times they just tighten each one down hard and it will bend it sideways and will leak. This isn't for sure what's going on but it could be. If it doesn't work I'd swap out the front and rear oxygen sensors with Densos.

Out of all the places that do smog and stuff, your answer is the most reasonable and actual solution other than just "driving". I'll for sure tell a guy to look at it tomorrow morning. Thanks bro

It does take a few startups to get everything to set and you want the gas level around the middle, not full and not empty. You may just need a few more days of driving.
