Default 2007 Civic SI - Radio

I am getting ready to install the OEM factory XM kit for the 2007 civic SI. I believe I can plug in the bus hardness without taking the whole dash apart. I am looking for a photograph of the back of the head unit (radio) from an 2007 Honda Civic SI (350 Watt). Can anyone help? Thanks!

check out http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and look under their Civic Accessories. There should be an XM Base Kit there with a PDF Install Instructions link on the right side. Hope that helps. Where did you pick up the Honda XM receiver from?

There is no need to take the radio out to do an XM install. The pocket beneathe the radio has the "false top" you can take out with a small flat tip screwdriver. Remove the top and reach in with the xm cable between your index and middle fingers and simply plug in. May take you a while to get it right (may cramp ur hand a little) I use to install em daily and its cake. Than just run the harness down the side of the car into the trunk.

I can take my dash apart in about 3 minutes now. If you have to, it's not hard. 1 screw and several clips.

I do not have the kit yet. I ordered it from handa-accessories.com. I downloaded the install PDF for the 2007 Civic SI, but their install looks like crap. My plans are to remove the center access underneath the radio, plug in the harness, and run it to the back of the car. I just wanted to look at a picture to make sure I was feeling the right connector on the back of the radio. The person below responded and verifed this could be done. On a side note, thank you to all of you who responded to my question. I joined this website almost a year ago, and I will have to say it has the best community of people who are knowledgeable and willing to help. Thanks again!
