brake caliper paint
i was looking to paint the calipers on my '06 Si and i was wondering if anyone has used this specific paint before to paint them. It looks like really good paint, but i'm curious if it will come out looking cheap, or looking good....

Although i'm not really crazy about painting calipers
I'm not gonna be an asshat about it like above....
HOWEVER.. i would go for a flat black just to hide the "wear" on them
But RED = too extreme for OEM equip

Re: brake caliper paint (bmoua)
that's what i'm sayin! thanks lol
I've had my Si for 3 months now, and i've just been researching, i'm not gonna just spray paint my calipers, if i WAS going to do it, I was going to research the best paints on the market (which is what i'm doing now) but instead of getting help, this punk just talks **** and calls me a ricer.
Anyways, a brembo big brake kit would look great, but my brakes work great the Si stops on a dime, why replace them? i just want to add some look to my car, it's silver and needs some touch and i don't really have the money for rims or a carbon fiber hood

Ok maybe its not the best mod to do
BUT its what he wants to do AND last time i checked... he owns it
There's no reason to call him names just because he doesnt have the funds to put 1000 dollar big brake kit or RIP off the calipers on a brand new car
If the Si CAME with red calipers STOCK, would you call it rice if someone painted them black?

Re: brake caliper paint (WHiTE.TypE.S)
my point exactly looks like you're catching on!
do you think painting them is going to improve my braking? it's PURELY aesthetics only stupid f*cks like you would replace brand new brakes. I don't want to replace something that's already new, simply make it look better. So, yes, i want them because they look PRETTY
