Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a used car for my daughter. I've narrowed it down to a 13 Civic LX or a 14 Corolla LE. My wife wants to make sure the car has a rearview camera.

What are your opinions on which one.
How much should I pay. the mileages are between 15k and 35k.

Compare prices with current listings to see if you're getting a good deal. I'm sure both cars would suit your daughter just fine. Its mostly personal preference.

Can't go wrong with either IMO.


I prefer the Civic, but that is because I prefer the Si.

Thanks guys, ended up buying a 14 Civic LX with 23k miles.

Hope it continues to be as reliable as my former Civic and current Accord.

One thing that pissed me with the price is, in the past we would decide on a price and then add TTT but now they say there is a dealer fee of $800 that is added on the selling price so we have to keep that into account.

Its like the airline charging for checked-in bags or going in for a Oil change they add the disposal and shop fees. Keep that into account.
