2012 Honda Civic trouble code P2185 Circuit High
Hi, i'm having an issue with my Honda Civic 2012 Engine Coolant Temperature sensor. The MIL light doesn't want to go off and I can't pass the state inspection sticker. In addition I will include what I have done to try to fix this problem.
1- Changed both ECT sensors 1 and 2
2- Sprayed and cleaned both sensors 1 and 2 connectors
3- Measured the voltage on sensor 1 and was indicated (3.21 volts) Also measured sensor 2 and it was (3.5 volts) Is it too low ?
4- Removed the multi pins from ECM/PCM connectors A, B, C sprayed with contact cleaners and cleaned.
5- Also I have measured the resistance between all 4 wires. The resistance found in each wire was (0.5 Ohm) all wires are proven to be in good shape.
Can anybody figure out how to solve this problem ? it will be very much appreciated Thanks!
