2006 Honda Civic Key Fob Replacement

Default 2006 Honda Civic Key Fob Replacement

Hey guys, how should I go about getting a second key fob for this Civic? Owner's asking me. One of the key fob's is dead and doesn't work, battery's fine. Is it possible to order one from eBay and just take the internals and put them in the dead key that we currently have and program it? Or are the internals some how specific to each key or something? Pretty sure that's possible, correct? Thank you.

Order one from ebay, it should fit fine. I did it with one of my keys and just have it programmed.
