Just got Flashpro yesterday along with some other parts. I can't wait to be able to sit down and really start to adjust my setup. Stock tune with no rev hang. Best mod by far. Highly recommended.

Only had flashpro a few days. I couldn't be happier. I hope to mess with the auto tune feature. Anyone else on here have any experience or tips?

For all you that are running a catless header or o2 sensor, are you getting a check engine code after or is FP disabling that? Is it affecting your emissions?

I wouldn't mind the power gains from a header, but my car is a daily first and foremost, and a car to play with after, so if its gonna make it an issue later, I rather not.

So rev hang is starting to annoy me a lot. I need to invest in Flash pro but I'm not sure if it will work with my Current setup. I ordered an Injen SRI last night but I heard that flashpro works best with an exhaust and a CAI. Should I invest in a good exhaust before flashpro? Or will it run just fine with stock exhaust and a SRI? Last question is where is the best place to get flashpro? I've been quoted anywhere from $650 to $800 lol dollars.

This is literally my question. I am pretty new to the whole modding thing but have read about the hondata rechipping.

I have a 2012 SI, I am wondering what the best option is for me and how easy this is for someone who is new to do.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hi,
I am from Singapore, just got the flashpro fix and tune in my car by one of the local tuner.
I got a few question to ask as there are few issue i am facing.
Not sure if the tuner tune my car at the right spec.
Car model : civic 2.0a SI. Year 2009
Mods. Only fitted with fujisutbo exhaust .
Hondata flashpro: Serial # FP-SI-INT-21520
(Civic Type R)
(Outside North America)

After tuning. My speedo meter keeps showing different speeds on the meter.
Running at 80km/hr and suddenly will jump to 110 plus km/hr and the rpm will still remain the same . No changes to the RPM but only the Speed showing differently then will just back to normal for awhile then will jump of speed again.
Is it normal ??
One more is the electronic steering Symbol will sometimes light and go off too.

Has anyone facing the same problem?
please advice ...tks
Is the hondata meant for my civic 2.0a.
Pls help and advice. Tks

I'd say its worth it for a stock car. You'll gain mid-range power, even on a bone stock motor. You'll also get rid of rev-hang.

I'm attempting to teach myself how to use Flashpro to MAF tune for my R18 Turbo. I know I am supposed to adjust the MAF AFMv Voltage in Flashpro first, but when looking at the Histogram, how do I know where to adjust the AFM voltage?

Can someone please point me to the part of the Cobb Tuning manual that talks about MAF tuning please or help guide me here with flashpro directly since Hondata's guide/help file is seriously lacking in instructions? I know how to do Ignition and Fuel tuning, but I can't figure this out to save my life.

Thanks in advance.

FP can disable it. Yes it does affect your emissions, with no cat, theres no "filter". So when its time to pass emissions inspection, i just put my cat back on and then I'm good

I have a Flashpro unit for a 2012 Civic Si, only problem is the dealership sold the car that was flashed with this exact unit to a wholesale lot. I'm almost 100% sure that it's still married to that car. Anyway way to go about getting a new flash on this unit?

I have had ReFlash Pro for 3 years now and they don't inspect my cat. They just plug in to your OBD2 port and make sure your not spitting any codes and our out. You shouldn't have to put your cat on every time you go through your emissions unless your state inspects them.

Debating on dropping the money for this. I really don't plan on doing much to my car performance wise other than either an SRI or modifying my stock intake. Is it worth the money? Also, my laptop is a Mac, and FP requires Windows?

I'm planning on getting one for my stock '09 Si. I'll probably have a cold air intake by then, nothing more (for now). Regardless of my future plans, it seems worth it on a mostly stock motor.

I decided to get the Flashpro this past week. I changed the intake last weekend to a Skunk2 CAI and I did Flash it yesterday. Let me say the results speak for themselves.

Mid range power is great and it pulls alot better. Really happy with it!

Anyone have any trouble with Flashpro + emissions? Or the factory powertrain warranty?

My car is about to turn 40K and my only mod has been HFP brake kit. Starting to get the itch to do something else, but my car has been 99% trouble-free and I don't want to mess with success.

Ross I can vouch that everything works perfectly fine!

If you do get flashpro I will say you don't use Hondata's stock tune although it's not a bad starting point the stock tune from flashprotuning.com is way better.

No more rev hang... instant pedal feel, vtec is dropped meaning more power to play with. It really gives the car that extra punch.

Love it!
