1970AMX

On my 2001 civic the windshield wipers come on and off by themselves and when I cycle the switch they turn off and park but then move up a couple of inches before they stop. Then a couple of seconds later start up again until I cycle the switch again. There is also a slight burning smell when they are on. I have changed the wiper motor and the steering column switch and it still does it. Is there anything else I can look at? Thanks

I would wager that your multiplexer is going.
