Wiper Problem
tryed searching but nothing comes back on "wipers"
Anyways my problem is wipers dont have an int. setting anymore, they just keep moving constantly with no delay. Also when i turn the wipers off they stop all over the windshield, and i keep having to tap the mist button to get them to stop down were they are suspose to stop. Anyone know the reason for this? I figure might have been a fuse gone, but there is no fuse for the wipers that i can find?
*edit*
found the fuse in the box under the dash, now to try and replace that see if it fix'es it*

Re: Wiper Problem (Newfie)
Well if your wipers stop all over the place when you turn them off, it seems like your park switch inside the wiper motor isn't working. I'd try banging on the wiper motor first to see if jars anything into place. If not, you probably need a wiper motor.

at least on older honda's there was a module called the ICU, "integrated control unit" or something like that. If you did any electrical work in the car without disconnecting the battery you could blow this module out, it contains the timer for your intermittent wipers.
the solution is to replace that unit. I've done it many times over the years and it has always fixed this issue. Your best bet is to find a junked civic and try to pull it off one of those. Honda will want an arm and a leg for one.

thanks for the replys!
anyone know if the one off the rsx will work?
found a wrecked rsx at junkyard and so far i got the k20 (760 dollars) the subframe, axels, rad, bunch of lines / cables for shifter, fuel etc..
now just need to save up for mounts and hondata kpro (1100 dollars wow! costly) and ill put the k in, but figured first get the car back to decent running condition first.
