Water in '03 driver side footwell
I have an '03 Honda Civic Coupe that I bought last January. This summer I noticed the carpeting in the extreme upper left side of the driver's footwell was frequently wet. Though this coincides with AC use, everything I read describes a clogged AC drain spilling into the *passenger* footwell. The water seems to first appear around the base of the foot rest, then drain to a lower spot about 8" along the door sill, where it puddles--no where near the center section where the AC unit is. I have never found any drips or dampness anywhere above the area, as I thought I might if it was rainwater leaking in around the base of the windshield--in any case the wetness has appeared when there has been no rain for two weeks or longer, which is why I keep thinking it must be AC-related. Also, if I use the AC, I'm guaranteed the puddle.
I'd sure like to hear from anyone who's experienced this or has any ideas.
Thanks!

Weird. Usually A/C drips are on the passenger side, from the evaporator.
Water accumulation on the driver's side is usually due to a clogged moonroof drain tube or a bad seal, but since it hasn't rained where you're at, that's ruled out.
I'm a bit stumped.
Next time it starts to happen, remove the lower dash cover(s) and use a flashlight see if you can spot any moisture. It's a bit cramped, so that may be a bit of a PITA.
