SRS Problem
Ok first off i have put in rsx front seats in my car. Ever since then i have the srs light perma on. i have reset it doing the paper clip way. still wont go off. i have changed the seat belt bucks also. they are my stock civic ones not rsx. no matter whta i do it wont go off. i have been told by a buddy to take it to honda cuz it may be supthing in the wiring circuit and malfuntioning that way. thing is i dont htink it will be covered under the lifetime seatbelt warranty bc i swapped my seats. So basically what i wanna know is there a way i can take out the srs bulb on the dash ? or maybe even cut the srs wire that goes into the guages to disable the light ? i need to pass inspection and as long as the light isnt on im good to go.

Re: SRS Problem
You should be able to pass inspection. Only manufacturers are required to put them in brand new models. Plenty of people running around with aftermarkets steering wheels with no SRS (MOMO, etc) and a good inspection.

Re: SRS Problem
Bulb for the SRS light is soldered on the circuit board. You could either try removing it or try removing the SRS module itself then reset the ECM/PCM. Can't think of anything else right now, sorry.
