screeching/grinding noise when i attempt to start my car
Hello, I'm new here and looking for information.
I have a 2003 civic lx coupe that makes a noise when I try to turn on my car. Sometimes the car turns on fine, sometimes it makes that noise before struggling to turn on, and other times it'll just screech without turning on at all. Within the past year I've replaced the starter, battery and alternator, and I just replaced corroded terminals today. So, I'm not sure what the problem might be. Any help would be much appreciated

I found the problem. It was a faulty starter. I didn't suspect it because I recently installed it 6 months ago. I took my car in to a dealer for recalls and they inspected the noise as well. It was the gears inside the starter screeching and grinding. I took it to autozone and got it replaced under warranty.
