Rattling coming from dash
This may sound stupid. Flame if you wish. For the last couple days when i accelerate i hear this minor rattling. Its coming from the passenger side of the car. Sounds like its under the dash. has anybody had this problem? Im planning on takin the dash apart when i got a free day. But any advice or suggestions as to what is would help. It sounds like a metal on metal rattle.

I should have just mentioned it as a fan. If you have your fan running, it may be that the fan is making noise. But, if it's noisy when the fan is off, then I would say something is loose, or broken.

How loud is the sound? Because it may be under the hood, near the firewall. I'm just trying to play all the options.
And, the dash is somewhat easy to take off, it just takes a while (patience).

after a bit, plastics get loose, rattling against anything. it's going to be hard to get rid of the sound, unless you can pinpoint it, and maybe put some grease on it or something so that it acts as a cussion.
mine does it on my dash, door panels, sun roof . its annoying when i try to drive without music.
so i constantly keep the radio on now.
this happened after having one 10" sub blasting at an amazing 300 watts in my car, after 6 months. cant imagine how you guys with two 12's are after a year.
