Pulling SRS codes?
My parents have a 2002 Acura 1.7EL (equivilant to the 01-05 Civic in Canada)
They went into a ditch with it a couple years back and ever since then the SRS light has kept coming on. I've followed instructions on this board for resetting the light, but it never stays off for long, so I know there is a problem.
Is there any way to make the SRS light flash which code is stored like the CEL light?
Thanks

Re: Pulling SRS codes?
I'm only familiar will the EG and EK procedures, which may or not be the same as EM2, but yes, you should be able to jump the SRS Service connector inside of the steering wheel with the supplied jumper and it will blink out codes through the SRS light that you can reference in the service manual. Give the wheel a 1/2 turn and you should see access panel held on with a single screw on the bottom of the wheel.
Let me also say that I had an SRS ECU fail on my '94 Si. The light stayed solid and threw codes that did not exist. I got a replacement ECU for $10 in a junk yard and the problem was solved.

Re: Pulling SRS codes?
Isn't the SRS service connector the yellow one under the dash on the driver's side? I've never heard of one inside the steering wheel.
