Default Transmission Help!!!!

Last night I took my 04 civic out and everything was fine. I parked it last night and went to move it this morning and now it will not go into reverse. Does anyone have an idea of what I should check first or has anyone had this problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately can not afford to swap yet.

reverse isnt synchronized, the gears probably arent lined up. Put it in 4th then put it in reverse, it should drop in.

I have tried that I can feel where reverse is but it feels like something is blocking it. I can line the linkage up and then try to go in reverse but it stops right before it pops in
