Head Gasket..
for our cars, who makes a good performance head gasket?? What is our stock head gasket thickness? I wanna see if I can get a thick head gasket along with a adjustable cam so I can alter compression.. Any opinions?

will an adjustable cam gear alter compression? I dont think so.. Head work, or a longer stroke might result in higher compression, but not a cam gear, or even a camshaft for that matter. A thicker head gasket will..

Yea, that's what I meant, The head gasket, will be thicker so diff compression.. The cam gear will be so it can be tuned properly for timing. sorry, i was unclear earlier.

Well, a thicker head gasket will reduce compression. A turbo will increase compression. How 'bout you leave the gasket out all together? Or, better yet, leave the head off. Then you can just push the car down a hill because that's what you are going to be doing if you begin to mess with your car. JUST DRIVE YOUR CAR!

WTF is wrong with you dude?? lol
Do you have a tuned civic? If not, then SHUT UP, if you do, then SHUT UP.. LOL
no **** a head gasket wich is thicker will decrease the compression. NO **** A turbo Increases. But with an increase of cc you can INCREASE turbo pressure Even MORE... sound fair to you?? it's been done many many many times before with b18's and H22's and such... Just haven't found one for my car yet.
UNTIL NOW... A 2 mm head gasket is being custom made right now by Cometic Gasket...
I'll let you all (who are interested) know how it works when it's re-tuned.. K..
