ELD UNIT LOCATION--HELPP!!

ELD UNIT LOCATION--HELPP!!
The thing is that I called Acura dealer to ask them where could be the ELD unit and they told me that it is integrated in the fuse box under dash. I know that in many models the ELD unit is under the hood in the fuse box, but not in my case.
Is there any way to cut a wire in order to completely disconnect ELD unit? Or do I have to buy an entire fuse box?
There is a blue main relay behind the glove box that clics every time I turn engine on, after 1 min it stops doing it and my REV gauge and temp gauge die. And I`m not able to accelerate the car.
-When I take out that blue main relay the car starts and works perfect but just for 5 sec. then it dies and I have to replace the relay to turn it on again.
I have a 2001 1.7EL Acura M-T Canadian.
Thank you!

Re: ELD UNIT LOCATION--HELPP!!
Looks like the Acura EL Canadian is a re-badged Civic. Looking at the circuit diagram for a 2001 Canadian Civic, there doesn't appear to be an ELD in the circuit. The PCM pin for the ELD is not used for Canadian Civics.
Your issue is probably something else unrelated to the ELD, as the circuit diagrams doesn't show an ELD for Canadian Civics.
There is a PGM-FI Main Relay 1 and a PGM-FI Main Relay 2, located behind the glove box. You probably are pulling Main Relay 2 if the car can start, as Main Relay 1 can function without Main Relay 2; but, not the other way around.
PGM-FI Main Relay 1 is FI Main and feeds power to the injectors and other components. PGM-FI Main Relay 2 is the fuel pump relay.
PGM-FI Main Relay 2 works in conjunction with PGM-FI Main Relay 1. PGM-FI Main Relay 2 relies on a functioning PGM-FI Main Relay 1 in order to supply power to the fuel pump.

Re: ELD UNIT LOCATION--HELPP!!
Have never seen one of these US market ELD on a Canadian market Civic or EL. What is being pointed to in the picture does not exist on your EL, just a metal bypass strip. How/why are you getting the idea your EL has one?

Re: ELD UNIT LOCATION--HELPP!!
Hi Guys
I agree that there is no ELD unit in an 2002 Acura EL canadian model as I cannot find it and the undehood fuse block as a Bypass Aluminium plate instead of the ELD module id as picture below.
My trouble could also be same as Lazlong ??
I am not getting 12Volt at the alternator Connector pin whitch usually come from the ELD module. I guess this wire come directly from Underdash fuse 4 to supply 12V. My problem is that continuity is bad (7K ohms) over this wire between the Alternator connector pin and the underdash fuse 4 connector.
I do not know routing for this wire as I suspect there is a connector or a junction box with other wires somewhere between thos end points. Unless it is transiting through an unknown parrts somewhere
Does someone could support my diagnostic and where should I check for a bad electrical continuity ??
I am really stuck with this and need help.
Thank you
