Default DTC P1457

Check engine light came on. Pulled code P1457. After reading a bunch of post about this code they suggest changing the ( canister vent shut valve )
The ( purge valve ) and the ( 2 way bypass valve ).

Can anybody show me or send a diagram of where these parts are located.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Default Re: DTC P1457

Hey guys,

I have a Honda Civic 2001.

Its giving me the P1457 code.

I have to pass an emissions test this month.

1. Can I unplug the battery (or remove the right fuse) to turn off the Engine light and then replug the battery wires, drive to the test, and pass it that same day???

2. Does removing the battery power reset the code P1457 ?

3. If my Engine light turns off does that mean the computer wont issue a P1457 error code when hooked up to the emission system?

-Mandy
