Hello guys i am installing a remote start/keyless entry on my 2003 honda civic lx and I have two issues.


Problem 1: after wiring the lock/unlock wires to the keyless module, I go to check if it locks/unlocks via the remote and all doors lock/unlock except the driver door. the driver door lock/unlock switch works on all the door except the driver door too. the driver door lever does not go up or down and it wont let me manually push it down or up. Its stuck positioned half way. Can someone please tell me how I can fix this?

Problem 2: I cant find the parking light wire under the kick panel to wire to the module when signaling lock/unlock of car. People online say its a red/black wire thats + polarity on the right side of the steering column but I can find it. Can someone please tell me where its located?

If you pull the lever to open the door and press the lock button down at the same time, your doors will lock. I have a busted actuator so my keyless entry is not fully working also on driver side.

Yes its the actuator like @drigo951 said, for the wiring I'll say get the service manual and check the wiring.

I had that problem once. Never fixed it, just opened the passenger door, until I sold the car!
(don't mean to troll. I'm just getting my post count up to "two." Don't mind me) Thanks!
