Default Changed Alternator and SRS light came on????

I have an 03 civic ex coupe MT. My stock alternator died so I replaced it with one from autozone. After the installation I noticed the ABS light is on(I honestly don't remember if it came on before I did the replacement or after). Here's what happend... My car battery died because I drive my car once or twice a month I try to start it every other day so it but I didn't start it for about a week, so it completely died. I jumpstarted my car and then the car ran for a few minutes then died(I've jumpstarted the car a few times before because of this as well). But anyways I checked a few things and determined my alternator died, so I replaced it. After I replaced it I had the problem I'm posting about. Also I just remembered that my abs light came on before; after my battery had died and I jumpstarted my car and hasn't been off since, my abs doesn't work now, are these related some how due to the jumpstarting??? PLEASE HELP ME.

P.S. Car was never in accident that cause airbag to deploy or anything, car was in an accident in 2/06 but this problem just started happening Thanksgiving day 2007(the day when I changed the alternator).

Default ABS light is on how do I diagnose problem or reset light....

It's an 03 civic ex MT. Here's the problem, my ABS light came on and I don't know why. I drive my car once or twice a month the abs system worked fine, I didn't drive the car for another 2 weeks, when I started the car the abs light came on, after I jumpstared my car because the battery died. Should I reset my ecu or something to fix???

Same thing happened to me, but it turned out to be a faulty alternator and batter, if your batter is dead and doesn't start your car even with the new alternator, you still have a bad battery, replace it and the ABS light should correct itself, basically the ABS light comes on when there is not a full 12 voltz of current runing thru the car.

I have a new battery as well and I have a capacitor on my line with a volt meter it's sowing like 14.5 at the end of my audio system. But would that have also cause the srs light to come on also??

Having too many voltz is the same as having too little, i would replace the battery honestly.
