Default 2004 Civic EX power loss @ 4000rpm

Looking for a little help on this one. The code that comes back is p2647 rocker arm actuator stuck off. Oil change was done less than 3k miles ago, so I don't think that is it. Not sure if replacing the oil pressure switch will take care of this or not....thoughts? If so can someone tell me where it is located? Thanks!

What was the solution? I get this problem when I'm low on oil. But the oil light never comes on.

If the engine is cutting out at 4,000 RPM's, you're probably in Limp mode. Meaning there is probably a Check Engine Light illuminated and you have something to investigate.

It goes into limp mode when I'm low on oil. I have a cel, I believe it was oil pressure sensor. I got a oil pressure sensor but have not put it on yet. Could the vtec solenoid be faulty or screen be clogged. But as soon as I put oil in the engine it's not in limp mode anymore.
