2003 Civic Hybrid P0172
So I am getting code P0172 (System too Rich (Bank 1))
2003 Honda Civic Hybrid
The following is my current freeze frame at idle:
DTCFRZF: P0172
FUELSYS1: CL
FUELSYS2: N/A
LOAD_PCT(%): 31.0
ETC(C): 162
SHRTFT1(%): -10.2
LONGFT1(%): -20.3
MAP(kPa): 9.2
RPM(/MIN): 906
VSS(km/h): 0
IAT: 88
TP(%): 9.8
Please, if someone knows where I should start, let me know. I do have various tools, a vacuum leak smoke machine, compression tester, cleaners, and more. Thank you to all who can help.

Re: 2003 Civic Hybrid P0172
Usually it's a bad fuel pressure regulator or the O2 sensor(s) and/or catalytic convertor are bad.
Your fuel trim (SHRTFT1, LONGFT1) is displaying negative numbers, meaning it's trying to reduce fuel. This leads me to believe that the engine is really getting too much fuel. I would start by test fuel pressure and if it's too high replace the fuel regulator. Fuel pressure should be between 40-47 psi.
