2001 Civic Blower Motor stuck on full
Two days ago my blower motor would not work at all. I viewed a forum on this site and discovered that it had to be the blower motor resistor. I took the original one out, and replaced it with new one and this fixed the problem.
Today when I started my car, the blower is stuck on full, even when the dial is turned off. The AC does not engage until the dial is turned so that side of the system is fine. I've checked the fuses and the blower motor relay and they are fine.
I read an answer elsewhere that said if the blower is stuck on full then it is the blower motor resistor has gone, but that can't be right as it wouldn't turn on at all until I replaced that part already.
Help would be appreciated!

Most of the time if the resistor goes out it is stuck on high. The resistor may have been bad out of the box. Or you may have an open in the circuit to cause it to blow so quick. What voltage are you getting to the resistor?

Voltage going in around 12.5 volts. I'm going to take the resistor back and change it, then see if that fixes it
