Who Rides Slammed in the winter? (no snow people dont post)
well, anyone in IL knows that we got hit massively with snow. so i got the fortunate opportunity to take the xterra today instead of the integra. the teg would be stuck being a natural snow plow, which makes me wonder.....
how many of you guys stay slammed in the winter?
post pics.
(my cars still in the garage getting worked on no pixs for me)

Hell no. I have 2 cars. If my teg was slammed, i wouldnt have moved a foot today.
I had trouble in my winter beater (92 POS beretta). I got stuck like 5 times. Even this car at its stock height was like a snow plow.

top of my tires is flush with the fender on my 93 hatch and I run it like that in the winter. Haven't even got stuck for last couple winters, you'd be surprised what you can make it through with a little finesse.

It'll be my first time lowered in the winter this year. Tuckin tire in the front, 1 finger gap in the back. We'll see how she does. It doesn't snow much in Maryland, but when it does, it does big.

It's not really slammed, but I daily drive it rain, snow, or shine. I was dragging around ice chunks all day today. Here's a picture from the day before the snow hit.

Re: (ill roller)
damn! I got nervous I'd get stuck so I raised my car to stockish height..plus I'm hoping for tons of snow this year
but believe me being stuck km's away from the nearest house, in a blizzard, and the car is frozen stuck to the ground, its one of the crappiest feelings ever.

I drive around at this ride height. Honestly as long as your not an idiot you'll be fine with a lowered car. Although, my beaks lower tie bar acts like a snow plow.

Re: Who Rides Slammed in the winter? (A_P_1)
Just a quick shot of my tire and ride height. Right now i have stock suspension with winter tires and am waiting until spring to install my coilovers and camber kit. The other picture is a quick snap of the snow out my front door. Driving to school yeserday i saw 4 acidents and 6 cars in the ditch and its only a 10 minute drive. I try not to drive on days like those, its just shear ice on the roads and even winter tires cant save your ***. Its winter 50% of the year so you have to enjoy your car while you can plus this is my only car haha. I know i dont have it as bad as some guys but i thought i would contribute.
Ps, thank god we own a snowblower
Welcome to Canada
