well I'm new here and tried doing a search but the are like a billion "rice" topics that came up so if you could , could someone explain to me what exactly is considered "rice" on this web site... I've seen people call civics with no body kit or anything on them "rice". Is JDM styling "rice"

This term has been thrown around sooo much on this site that, when people say it it seems to have 100's of different meaning.

rice is an oppinion. its different for everyone. dont worry about what is rice and what is jdm. just do what you like.

I have a 98 civic coupe, white with a CTR front lip and bronze racing hart CP-8's, and a stock GS-R swap.

In my opinion , my car looks pretty clean, from what I'm getting from some of the posts in the different forums is that my car would fall into the "rice" catagory.

I really don't care to much , but just want to know what other people on this site see my ride as.

I'll get pics as soon as i get a scanner or dig. camera.

your car is not rice, rice is a little grain that is steamed to make a tasty dish, it can be brown or white, wild, etc.

Exactly.. my car would fall in the "rice" category in most people's heads simply just because it has a body kit to my taste and liking and not theirs. "Rice", from what I've seen is kinda like negative thoughts towards cars that have more "looks" than "performance" mods. I don't really care what people think though.. cuz like Jackson says... do what you want.. people have different likings.

Just don't hate on my car or else... "Bop!!"
