hmm ive never tried that paint but rite now i have the "camel" color form the duplicolor line and i think it looks great! it came out darker then what it is suppose to be b/c i used a dark primer [gunmetal] and it came out very very YUMMY! only down side is that ive only seen the camel paint in 5 oz. cans which is a pretty bad rip!HTH!

edit- didnt see it was a valve cover...

I take it you're talking about my valve cover. Well we've put it on 3 different valve covers, two header heat shields, and a couple intakes... none of which have shown any sign of wear. The only wear I have on my valve cover is where the spark plugs rub on the valve cover / hood.

I know its hard to ignore the sexy arm in the photo, but try to focus on the wheel.

BTW I wouldn't use this color. Its too dark, and looks bad unless the sun is shining directly on to it. It looks brown actually. But I mean if you want a brown valve cover, then by all means use it. I'm sure the temperature won't affect it. Valve covers don't get too hot. Actually brown could be good for a valve cover. Hrmmm... I'll see how much is left in my can.

i decided on using cast iron high temp duplicolor. starting it right now and we'll see how it goes. i still do love that color though my color is similar but more of a gun metal greenish color. will take pics asap...in the paint stripping process right now.

Ya, it looks like dookie until a bright light hits it and the sparklies sparkle. Like the in the pic above where the sun is hittin it. Not that theres anything wrong with dookie. If thats your thing.
